The Eras Mirrorball - This custom piece was created as a way to embody the entire discography of artist, Taylor Swift. Labelled as best female songwriter of the decade, Taylor Swift has been able to tell a story with her music since her first release back in 2006, where she told of first loves and heartbreak. Much like her ability to tell a story through music, this piece was created to encapsulate Taylor's time as an artist using colour. All ten albums have been portrayed using oil paints, blended to resemble each specific album's corresponding colour scheme. The iconic mirrorball shape was chosen as the base for this piece as an ode to track 6 on album Folklore. Like the mirrorball, reflecting the different versions of the observer, this one in particular reflects the different versions of Taylor Swift throughout the eras of her musical career.
